Isothermal trucks

Isothermal truck is a cargo vehicle equipped with a special container which makes it possible to sustain stable temperature inside. These functional characteristics arise from the need to transport goods sensitive to the environmental impact and temperature changes - food products, medicines and other perishable goods.

Isothermal trucks should be distinguished from refrigerators. Unlike the latter ones, they are not equipped with refrigerating machines and, consequently, are not intended for freezing anything: the aim of the vehicles of this type is only to sustain the stable initial temperature of the transported goods. This effect is produced due to the specific construction of the isothermal van - multilayered walls made of materials with different heat conductivity including a layer of a special thermal insulating material (usually foam plastic, urethane plastic foam or foam polystyrene). Additional effect is due to commonly used inner upholstering made of galvanized metal, which not only helps to sustain stable temperature but also is resistant to chemical and mechanical impacts. Hermetically sealed doors of the container are not of least importance.
