The low loader semi-trailer is a special type of a semi-trailer (cargo platform) with increased weight capacity for transporting various large, over-sized and heavy cargo.

The low loader trawl is an enhanced cargo platform 0.5-1 m above the road level. Depending on the model and the particular specialization, these semi-trailers can have from two to eight or even more wheel axles, as well as various equipment for cargo attachment and loading (folding or retractable ramps, cranes, etc.). Weight capacity of some low loader trawls can exceed 200 tons.
