Tilt semi-trailer is a type of closed box semi-trailer built on the basis of a flatbed semi-trailer complemented by a tilt on a rigid frame.

Depending on the model, these semi-trailers may have hinged double doors in the rear wall, rigid front wall, special curtain mechanisms to move one or both side walls, rigid or sliding roof (the latter option creates the possibility of vertical loading with the use of a crane).
