So, I drove the new-gen Sprinter a few times for work deliveries. It's got solid handling, and the fuel efficiency is a bonus with the FWD model. The cabin is designed thoughtfully, but some tech options feel like a luxury rather than necessity-for instance, the advanced infotainment system. Nonetheless, it does what it’s meant to, though could be costly fully loaded.

Been using different Sprinter variants for courier work, clocking long days in all kinds of conditions. The thing with the newer Sprinter is the payload is huge and there’s ton of configurations, but most of the nice features like adaptive cruise cost extra and it’s not cheap upfront. Drives super easy, feels almost like a car and you’ve got decent visibility with those massive mirrors. The 2.1 diesel isn’t quick but it pulls steady and gets good fuel numbers, way better than some of the other big vans I’ve driven. Love the Bluetooth and air con, but those dashboard storage lids annoy me. They pop open on their own unless you slam them shut just right. Apps to unlock loadspace is a cool gimmick if your mates forget the key. Maintenance through Merc isn’t cheap though. Overall, solid workhorse, just not perfect if you’re pinching pennies.

Short take from someone who moves kit and people. The Sprinter is brutally practical - loads of body options, big internal sizes (7.8-17m³) and low sill on the FWD versions helps when you’re loading pallets. Tech is useful: adaptive cruise, 360 camera, voice control actually works, and the rear traffic alert is worth the money on long wheelbases. But note: most of the smart kit is extra and Mercedes Pro might not replace the fleet telematics you already pay for. Little things annoy me - hinged compartments that like to spring open are poor quality. Still solid, easy to use, and good visibility. If you want simple, reliable workhorse with modern safety, this fits - but budget properly for options.

Had the chance to use a 2005 Sprinter 311 quite extensively. It’s a decent van for its age, with some areas where wear is evident. The engine offers suitable power, but after many miles, issues will understandably arise, like with the suspension or minor electrical components. Space-wise, works for goods under its capacity limit but feels dated in terms of ride comfort compared to contemporary vehicles. A good choice historically, but would evaluate current fleet demands carefully before acquiring another one.

Recently drove a Sprinter equipped with the 9G automatic transmission. The gear shifts were smooth and responsive, though road and wind noise could be better contained. For commercial tasks, the safety features like active brake assist are decent, albeit it registered a few false triggers during my time. Fuel efficiency is average based on my typical route. I believe adding some basic options as standard would make a compelling package.

I had the opportunity to drive the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for a week, and overall, it's a solid choice for those needing a versatile van. The advanced MBUX infotainment system with the What3Words integration is functional, though I found the interface slightly less intuitive than expected initially. The loading bay's capacity, especially in the L3H2 configuration, is impressive and accommodates a variety of needs efficiently. On the downside, the wind noise on highways was a bit more noticeable, which can be slightly distracting on longer journeys. Despite these minor points, the van handles remarkably well, akin to driving a regular car rather than a large van.

Driving the Sprinter was an engaging experience. The chassis alterations noticeably aid stability during both loading and highway cruising. Safety assists like Blind Spot detection enhance confidence on busy roads. While the general cabin finishes feel premium, integrating a few additional modern infotainment options could elevate its appeal even further.

I've driven the Mercedes Sprinter for a few months now for cargo delivery purposes. The interior is well-designed, making extended drives more comfortable. The engine's efficiency caught my attention; fuel economy is commendable given its size. The only slight downside is the navigation system, which I wish had a more intuitive interface.

Used a Sprinter for deliveries around the city-medium-length one with the BlueEfficiency diesel. Gotta say, took me a bit to get used to the size, but after a few days, no big deal. Power steering does actually help a lot sliding around tight corners. Love how easy it is to load up through the side door, especially with the step that pops out (wish it was standard though, not some extra). RWD is a little different if you’re jumping from a front wheel van, but you get used to it. Feels solid, real safe, and the Crosswind Assist is cool but I hardly noticed it working. Only knock is payload isn’t as big as some other options at this size, so if you always run heavy, pay attention. Service intervals aren’t super close which is good when you’re not fond of garage visits.

I recently spent time with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and must say it certainly impresses in many areas. The spacious cargo area is fantastic for multiple uses, and the drive feels smooth and controlled. However, I did notice that the cup holders were less functional considering their small size, which seems an oversight. The minimal engine noise enhances the driving comfort, even making external noise more apparent at times. All in all, it's evident a lot of thought has gone into this vehicle, making it a commendable option for individuals who need reliable transportation for professional purposes.
