Picked up a used TGE a few months back. Honestly, it drives pretty well - gearbox is way smoother than the last Transit I had. The handling is decent in bad weather too, doesn’t get twitchy if it’s empty. The engine’s got plenty of poke, never feels underpowered, even when loaded up for jobs. Fuel economy... it's okay, not breaking any records, but it's steady if you don't boot it everywhere. Not crazy about how little safety kit you get as standard, and the dash is a bit old-school. But the MAN aftersales is good, my local dealer sorts stuff out fast (worth it if you rack up big mileage). Not much to complain about on reliability yet, just regular service bits. All in, gets the job done, but nothing flashy. Just wish it had a bit more tech out the box.

So my company got the new MAN TGE, I use it for city drops and some trips out of town. Picked out the basic cargo van, manual gearbox, regular wheelbase. Sat behind the wheel, and first thought, not much different from the Crafter I tried before. Anyway, controls are simple, but I did have to get used to the clutch. Handles tight streets fine, rear wheel drive feels alright, haven’t had any major trouble so far. Comfort’s better than some old vans, seat doesn't kill my back after full day. Can’t say much about long-term fixes yet, but manuals usually don't get fussy. Price point was around what I expected for this size. Does what I need, nothing too fancy, but I guess that's the point.

Had a go at the MAN TGE recently. I was quite happy with its smooth operating transmission and responsive handling. Space optimization inside appeals to those with transportation needs, though the infotainment system still has room for improvement. Fuel efficiency matched claims quite closely during my mixed-condition trials.

I've been running deliveries in a bunch of vans over the years, and just started using the MAN TGE recently. Went for the 2.0 turbo diesel, 140hp version, with the 8-speed auto. The automatic shifting feels smooth enough, especially in city stop-and-go, but sometimes I wish it picked up quicker on hills. Passenger space inside is okay, but honestly, that tall roof option really helps with bigger loads, makes my life easier on those days I need more space. Didn’t splash out for the adaptive cruise, but the emergency brake thing did come in handy once during bad traffic. Service intervals seem fair, I’m not dreading maintenance bills. Only small thing-I think fuel consumption could be better, but it’s manageable with all the gear I usually haul. Not regretting the switch so far, but will see how it holds up in winter.

Drove the TGE 4x4 with the track kit for a couple of rescue jobs during heavy snow. The install is simple, no special shop needed. But the way this thing handles, you gotta get used to it. It's wide, and you feel the extra weight, especially when the cargo area is loaded. Can't take it on public roads in this mode, which is a letdown for moving between locations. The brakes are the stock disc ones, which felt alright, but stopping with tracks is not the same as on wheels. Driving slow is the rule, don’t even try speeding. It’s not uncomfortable inside, bit noisy maybe, but that’s normal for this kind of conversion. Not really the cheapest for what you get, but if you're working somewhere remote, probably worth it. Didn’t notice anything breaking down, so reliability seems solid.

I recently got to spend some time with the MAN TGE, and overall, it left a positive impression. The driving comfort truly mimics the experience of a smaller vehicle; smooth suspension and an intuitive cab layout make daily operations quite manageable. The storage areas could be better with added covers, and fuel efficiency isn't leading the class. However, the variety of safety features, especially the autonomous emergency braking as standard, earns it high praise from a professional standpoint.

Tried out the TGE, and I've got to say, it performs well in difficult terrains. The manual gear offers decent control, though the interior could use additional enhancements for long-haul comfort. On the plus side, visibility and the assistance systems are top-notch. Worth considering for specific requirements.

Been running a TGE 3.140 LWB for over a year now mostly for multi-drop delivery work around the city and down the motorways. On the upside: the ride is smoother than most big vans I’ve driven, and the cab feels pretty upmarket if you ignore the basic radio in my base spec. Loads of storage spots in the cab too - I can actually keep my stuff organized for once. The mirrors are huge so I never worry much about blind spots. Visibility’s a high point here. It’s a comfortable drive, doesn’t bounce around even when empty. I got the manual box, which gets a bit notchy now and then, especially in second when cold, but nothing major. Service intervals are decent and my local MAN centre knows what they’re doing, but there aren’t many of them about so getting booking slots can take a week or two. Price is a bit steep new compared to some but the quality’s there. No weird breakdowns so far, just basic wear and tear.

Been using the MAN TGE 3.180 4x4 that's modded with those TrackSystems tracks. Got to say it's not your usual van. We use it in the mountains mostly, winters get rough. You can swap the tracks on in under an hour, which is wild, saves a ton of time when the weather flips. It's heavier than your standard model and noticeably wider, makes it a bit tricky on tighter paths or parking near ski lodges. For hauling folks up to the slopes, though, it's a champ, eight seats and plenty of space. Only annoying bit is you can't drive this setup on regular roads, gotta switch back the wheels. Still, ramps and steep climbs aren't a problem anymore. The auto gearbox handles fine but you’re really stuck using the lower gears, can't go too fast. I’d say reliability is there. You're paying a bit more for the kit and probably higher service cost just cause the tracks aren't your usual parts.

Used the TGE mostly for local jobs and some heavy hauling. It's got loads of different versions, which helps since we needed a high-roof with a lot of space in back. I like the lower load height you get with the front-wheel drive-makes tossing stuff in way easier. Rear doors swing wide if you get the option, pretty handy with bulky cargo. Not everything inside feels fancy but the floor and walls are tough, can take a beating. Engine's quiet and takes the weight ok, though the 140PS is what I'd go for, balances everything out. Dealer service is pretty good too, can't complain there. Only real gripe is some of the options feel like stuff that should be standard. Overall, it works for what we do, just wish more comfort stuff wasn't extra.
