Flour tank trailers

The flour transport tank is a type of tank semi-trailers intended for transportation of various unpacked flowable, powdered and granular products (flour, malt, grain, feed compound, etc.).

Flour transport tanks are usually mounted on the frame of a two- or three-axle cargo semi-trailers, their capacity may be, on average, from 16 to 50 tons, and the working volume of some models is as high as 80 m3. In the upper part, there are hatches equipped for vertical loading of flowable substances, and the tank can consist of several isolated sections, which allows to conduct simultaneous transportation of different products in the case of necessity.

Unloading of such tanks is automated and is carried out through the bottom discharge cones, which move the entire amount of the transported substance into the air assist discharge system. In some models of the flour transports, the compressors used in the pneumatic transport system are capable of carrying out not only the processes of automatic discharge, but self-loading as well.

Closed body type of the flour transports protects the transported substances from the negative environmental impact, which allows for preservation of the highest quality of cargo during transportation. Moreover, to ensure the preservation of the cargo, some flour transports are additionally equipped with systems for monitoring and maintenance of the temperature and humidity.
